For me, being trauma-informed means recognizing how trauma can live in the body and mind, and shaping the space to promote safety, choice, and voice. It’s about meeting you where you're at and honouring your pace. I bring a somatic lens, use nervous system awareness, and support you to reconnect with inner safety, especially where it may have been disrupted.

Absolutely not!
You don’t need any art experience—just a willingness to explore. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative expression to help you process emotions, gain insight, and regulate your nervous system.
Art-making is proven to be evidence-based:
It lowers cortisol (stress hormone)
Regulates the nervous system
Supports trauma integration through bilateral movement and sensory engagement
Activates areas of the brain linked to emotion and memory in a non-verbal, accessible way
Art therapy naturally incorporates somatic elements, such as texture, rhythm, breath, and movement—helping the body feel safe enough to process what words can’t always reach.
Menstrual coaching brings the wisdom of your body into therapy. As someone living with endometriosis, I believe that understanding and honouring your cycle is essential for holistic mental health.
We'll explore the four phases of the menstrual cycle—menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal—through both education and art. Together, we tune into your shifting physical, emotional, and energetic needs. This creates space for empowerment, body literacy, and healing menstrual shame or trauma.
Art therapy supports this process by helping externalize what’s felt internally—creating ritual, meaning, and awareness through each cycle.
Absolutely! You don't need a specific diagnosis to benefit from art therapy or somatic work.
Many clients come to connect with themselves more deeply, explore creative identity, regulate their nervous systems, or simply find space to breathe and reflect. Your experience is valid, with or without a “label.”
Yes—sessions are available both in-person and virtually!
In-person sessions are held at Canopy Studios in Calgary, Alberta.
Virtual sessions are done through a secure platform.
We begin with a free 20-minute phone or video consult to ensure we’re a good fit. Regular sessions are 75 minutes long.
While no two sessions look the same, each one weaves in art therapy and somatic practices tailored to your needs. Some days may feel more reflective and talk-based, other days may include grounding, mindfulness, art-making, or body-based exercises. We co-create each step together.
Yes, fully confidential. As a Registered Social Worker and CCC, I follow professional and legal standards of confidentiality.
